My Verdict:

About packaging, it comes in a very pretty convenient pump that disperses just enough product and is easily controlled. I really like the packaging but the first time you use it, it might take a few pumps for the product to come out.

I got this in the shade NUDE.The consistency of this BB cream is little thick. Always use a moisturizer prior to this for blending easily. I use my Real techniques miracle sponge to apply. The product is nicely pigmented so you will notice some coverage. In my case, it does tone down the discoloration. The downside of this product is that it can wear off during the day. I managed to control that by setting the BB cream with setting powder but it last long. Also, since the product is too thick. I like to mix with little of my face serum.(because I have dry skin). This gives me a dewy look.

This BB cream is so heavily fragranced. It smells like a sunscreen with a floral hint of fragrance and the fragrance stays for quite some time.

Not to mention that although the SPF 20 is awesome but if you spend time in the sun you should be wearing another sunscreen under your makeup anyway. Also, the heavy fragrance can be sensitive for certain skin types.

I Love ELF but sadly this is not a product that I’d want to repurchase.

  • Inexpensive
  • Packaging is really good
  • Travel friendly

  • Heavy fragrance
  • Cannot blend easily with just the product
  • Thick consistency
  • Not hydrating

Top 10 Concealer Hacks

Concealers are a life-changing product. It’s a must in each vanity. Concealers are mainly know for hiding dark circles but there are various uses of this product. I jotted down my favorite ways to use concealers. Hope you guys enjoy it! So, lets go !!

  1. Apply concealer on the edge of the winged liner to correct or sharpen it.
  2. It can be used on eyelid as an eye-shadow primer.
  3. Apply little concealer on your lips to get your nude lipstick to show its true color and also any lipstick will stay longer.
  4. To sharpen the lip lines, apply concealer on edge of the lip line.
  5. Apply color correcting concealer to cancel out any redness and hide those pesky pimples.
  6. When concealing a pimple, first use a green concealer and then cover with a concealer that matches your skin tone perfectly.
  7. Apply concealer to different areas of face for highlighting and contouring.
  8. After applying concealer, blot the area with a tissue to prevent any creases around your eyes.
  9. Apply concealer underneath and above your eyebrow to clean up and give your eyebrow a natural look.
  10. To get an intensified and sexy looking collarbone, shrug your shoulders up and trace the natural contours with a concealer two shades darker than your skin tone, and then highlighting them with two shades lighter.

The website claims that color will stay up to 2 weeks without chipping. I will say, while it’s possible but I would definitely recommend top coat. It gave my  nails gel like finish which I really liked because no UV required. My manicure lasted much longer with it and I also noticed a pretty big difference in the overall look of the polish on my nail with the top coat vs without (I liked it with top coat more).

This is how it looks after 5 days,

5 ways to use Honey

Honey is one of the gentlest things you can put on your face. From young, oily and acne-prone skin to the dry, maturing types—honey has something for everyone.

Here are my top 5 ways to use honey,

Simple honey mask: Honey has moisturizing and antioxidant properties. It can be used as wonder mask. It also gently exfoliates. Apply a generous layer of raw honey to clean skin; relax for 30 minutes and rinse. Click here for a simple DIY using honey.

Honey scrub: Mix a small amount of honey with oats for a body and face scrub that exfoliates and moisturizes.

Lip moisturizing: Due to its moisturizing property, honey is great for lips. Click here for a simple DIY.

For acne:  Due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties honey works extremely well on skin that is prone to breakout. It helps heal existing acne and keep new breakouts from happening.

Anti-ageing properties: Honey is beneficial in protecting the skin against ultraviolet rays. Honey can thus be used as a good sunscreen preventing damage to the skin and premature ageing.
