NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer | Review

Have you ever noticed how few concealers when you apply them on your dark circles end up looking sort of grayish? That happens to me all the time. Concealers with yellowish tones don’t cancel out the purple or blue areas and they end up looking gray like I’m zombie.

Peach color correct (works best for medium and dark skin tones) cancel out those purple or blue tones leaving the under-eye area looking brighter, more refreshed and definitely not gray, LOL!

I am in the shade Ginger and it works great it cancelling out the darkness around my eyes without having to use any corrector. I have been hearing so many good things about this concealer from the time it released and finally I gave it a try and I absolutely love it. The texture is neither too thick nor thin and it has medium consistency and blends so easily into skin without creasing and that’s the best part I like about it.It’s so creamy like the name suggest and glides on easily. I have tried so many concealers and this one has been my most loved from high-end side. You just need a tad bit of this concealer and it gives a full coverage. In terms of longevity, it lasts for a pretty good while; I would say about eight hours without creasing. I highly recommend using a loose powder to set any concealer as it avoids any concealer to settle into the fine lines and also it gives flawless airbrushed look. This has become my go to concealer and pretty much using every single day.

There are so many shades for each skin tone to choose from. The packaging is very simple like any other concealer. It comes in as tube with a applicator which makes it easy to use and how much product to use is in your control.

I highly recommend this concealer to everyone if you are looking for a full coverage concealer as it totally worth every penny. Have you tried any other full coverage concealer? Which is your favorite concealer? I would love to know your thoughts. Thanks for reading!

Origins Clear Improvement® Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores | Review

One of my major investments from past few months has been on skincare products. I am really trying to get my skin clear. I got dry skin and little pores on my cheeks and my nose at times look like strawberry. But lately after following proper cleansing routine and taking good care of my skin by using right products I can feel my skin getting really better and also my skin doesn’t feel dry anymore honestly. I am so glad I invested in skincare products and I really feel comfortable in my skin now. A good base gives a smooth makeup application and I truly believe that.

I got Origins Active Charcoal Mask a month back and I have been using since twice a week. This mask claims to draw out all the impurities from your skin and minimize your pores. This mask contains Bamboo Charcoal which acts like a magnet to draw out deep-dwelling pore-cloggers, White China Clay absorbs environmental toxins, Lecithin helps in dissolving impurities.   The texture is like any other charcoal mask not too thick nor watery consistency. You can apply using your fingers or a brush. Before applying this mask, I highly recommend to keep a hot towel or take a facial steam to open out those pores. This way mask works more effective for me. Apply an even layer all over your face and leave it until it dries completely. This mask feels little tight once dried. Wash off with water and wipe out excess.  My pores look smaller immediately and blackheads are not so prominent. Although it doesn’t take out all the blackheads completely but it does make your pore shrink and make less noticeable. The blackheads come on the top surface of your skin with this mask so once rinsed just use a tool to extract the blackheads. It works really effective.

One thing you need to be careful with this mask is it makes your skin dry as any other charcoal mask. So apply a heavy moisturizer to your face post this mask. I like to use Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask as I already got dry skin and Clinique mask gives me a smooth skin and provides the required hydration. The packaging comes in a tube like which is easy to use either with fingers or a brush and it’s easy to carry while travelling.

I highly recommend this mask for all skin types. Have you ever tried this before? Which one is your favorite mask? Let me know in the comment section below. Thanks for reading !

Algenist Reveal Luminizing Drops | Perfect for Every Skin Type

Recently during my Christmas shopping, I went to Sephora to stock up few gifts for family and friends and I came across this gorgeous luminizing drops from ALGENIST. At the very first sight I was intrigued as I have heard Algenist is a great brand skincare but I never heard any you tuber or bloggers I follow talk about it lot. The best thing about this luminizing drops is that it contains skincare properties too. What else good can come out of it right?!! I was immediately sold to buy this.

There are 3 different shades it comes in but I wanted to try different shades instead of purchasing one large bottle so I gave a shot to this duo which has two shades and so far I am totally in love with this. I am glad I purchased this and have been using non-stop every single day.

The shades are Champagne and Rose. Both are such beautiful shades. Champagne is beautiful golden shade while Rose is subtle feminine flush. These shades will look great on all skin tones.

The texture of these is thin, smooth but not watery at all. It blends seamlessly once applied. The coverage is medium to full coverage. It’s a subtle highlighter but you can definitely build it according to the intensity you like.  I just take a drop or two and apply on my cheek bones and bridge of my nose and it gives such a beautiful natural glow. This liquid highlighter is great when mixed with a foundation or BB/CC cream. It gives a natural dewy look and doesn’t make skin look dry or patchy. It blends into the skin seamlessly. Also I mix this with moisturizer to give a flawless glow when I don’t want to apply any other makeup and this makes my skin look so radiant. The drops can be used on your face, eyes, lips, chest, or any other area that you would like to highlight. They can be used alone or mixed in with your skincare or makeup. It doesn’t settle into my fine lines nor does it accentuate my pores. The finish is a sheeny, natural, lit-from-within glow, that subtle healthy radiance, as if you are in a perpetual state of bliss. The coverage lasts throughout the day, without the need to reapply. If you are looking for something in one go then you might not like this as it’s a subtle highlighter and you need to build it to get more pigmentation.

The packaging is pretty simple. It comes in a thick glass bottle with a dropper so it’s easy to use and since this duo is travel size it’s great to carry during travel.

I highly recommend these drops to everyone. This has taken top spot in my vanity now and if you are into liquid highlighter I suggest you try this one.

Have you ever used any product from Algenist? Is there something I need to try from Algenist? Thank you for reading!

HASK Chia Seed Oil Volumizing Collection | Shampoo + Conditioner | Review

Having a healthy hair is so important.  I am not regular on my hair care routines and I see my hair getting worse and worse but thankfully because of HASK my hair looks quite healthy with shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioner.  I love HASK haircare range and I have used their SuperFruit Healthy Hair collection earlier and I just love it and used that religiously until I ran out of it . I was way too excited to when I got this CHIA from HASK.

Who doesn’t love Chia Seeds in their diet and smoothies? Well, I do!! They are so nutritious and full of anti-oxidants and so yummy. Like your body needs rich nutrients, hair also requires the same amount of care. This was the first time me trying a shampoo with chia. I was super excited to try and see how it works for me.

HASK Shampoo:

The texture is thick and pearly white and it lathers really well. It takes all the greasy residue and oiliness from my hair. The fragrance is so soothing and calming. Feels so natural fragrance and I love it. One thing I noticed with this was that my hair felt super smooth, soft and frizz free. I have wavy and frizzy hair and this shampoo made my hair look healthy and bouncy. I have been using this shampoo since the time I have got and I am already running out of it. I would definitely purchase this. That much I love this!!

HASK Conditioner:

I always tend to apply conditioner on my ends because they are very dry and I did the same with this conditioner. The texture is thick and white and fragrance is pretty much similar to the shampoo. It has a very natural soothing fragrance. After shampooing, I applied this conditioner and left for about 5 mins and rinsed well. My hair felt so soft and once they dried I could see how bouncy and voluminous my hair looks. I was thrilled by the results at my first time use itself. I absolutely love this and have been using this ever since I got it.

HASK has some really great products and this is one of them. I highly recommend this to all hair types. They do what they state and its very affordable. My hair looks so healthy and smooth. I love when my hair feels this way.  A good hair can instantly increase your self-confidence. Overall, I love this combo and it does wonderful job and how cute is the bag in which the products come 🙂

Anastasia Beverly Hills In Ashton | Review

You can never have too many lipsticks PERIOD J I am officially a liquid lipstick addict and recently I got this liquid lipstick from Anastasia Beverley Hills. I was so confused in trying their lipstick because I read so many places that their formula is super drying and not very comfortable but in Spring 2016 they reformulated and launched some new shades and ASHTON was one of their Spring 2016 collection. I read good reviews of their new formula so finally I got myself this gorgeous shade.

ASHTON is mid tone chestnut brown with a matte finish and this shade has been my favorite lately. This is the perfect brown/nude shade which will look flattering on all skin types. Their formula is moussey and glides on very easily and in one swipe you get a neat opaque finish with full coverage. The texture is just so velvety and this lipstick is transfer proof. It sets into flat matte finish within few seconds of application. It’s not at all drying whatsoever but however I always recommend to exfoliate your lips or apply a lip balm before applying any liquid lipstick. The lipstick stays good for more than 6 hours without fading even after eating and drinking. After 6 hours it starts fading a little so might need a retouch but otherwise this lipstick stays intact and I was totally surprised and impressed at its lasting power.

I have so many other liquid lipstick from other brands and this one from ABH is totally worth the money. The lipstick can be little pricier but worth every single penny. The packaging is just like any other liquid lipstick with a clear tube and an applicator. However I love the applicator of this particular lipstick as the wand is not too big and it’s a perfect size. I have other liquid lipstick where the wand is little too long and might get difficult it applying.

If you are crazy for liquid lipstick like me then you should definitely pick up this one and I am pretty sure none will regret this. I adore this lipstick and shade and I truly believe its universal nude shade which will look fabulous on every skin tone.

Have you used ABH liquid lipstick before? Which is your favorite liquid lipstick? I would love to know your thoughts. Thanks for reading 🙂
