DIY Caffeine Under Eye Serum

DIY Caffeine Under Eye Serum

Dark circles, under eye puffiness are something everyone faces. It can be due to stress, lack of sleep, heat exposure, and ageing, deficiency of vitamins or illness. Finding a good eye cream is so tough and can be a lot more expensive.

I came up with this simple DIY under eye serum which is so effective and requires only three ingredients from your pantry.

1/4 cup of Ground Coffee

1/3 cup of Almond Oil

1 tsp of Vitamin E Oi

Mix all the three ingredients in a container and let the coffee soak in for 4-5 days. Use cheesecloth or a strainer and filter it. Store in a glass bottle or any container. I like to refrigerate as the cooling effect reduces puffiness and soothes your under eye area.

Caffeine has antioxidant properties and helps in blood circulation. It also plumps your skin. Almond oil is a good source of Vitamin K which helps in reducing discoloration. Vitamin E is really great to hydrate and remove dullness. This serum can also be used on the entire face to remove any discoloration and even out skin tone. This can be used in the morning/night. I like to use at night as that’s the time when your skin gets maximum rest and the next day you are ready to go. I have been trying this for two weeks now and I am totally satisfied with the results.
