Rimmel Natural Bronzer Review

I consider a good bronzer to be a necessary part of my makeup depot. A bad bronzer however can make me look like as if I rubbed my face in the dirt or sandbox. Lately I have been obsessed with this Rimmel Natural Bronzer and I have been using for quite long now.

My Review:

I got this bronzer in the shade Sun Bronze which is soft subtle tan bronzy color. It’s a matte finish bronzer with good pigmentation. The powder is so fine and velvety finish and glides easily on your skin and doesn’t look patch or powdery. Its gives a very natural sun kissed bronze look which I love and also for more intense look the color can built. It is a pressed powder with a cute sun pattern embossed in it (I have been using this so much that my pattern is no more visible :D). This is a perfect shade for my medium skin tone and I love using on everyday basis. My skin gets tan easily during summers and at times I like this to use just as a powder to give me an even tan look.

The packaging sucks. It comes in a pan like form with a plastic lid. The lid loosened up over time and would always fall off. It’s not a twist up lid, more like a cover that you take off so be careful (my lid broke within a week)

Another favorite bronzer of mine is Park Avenue Princess by Tarte. The Rimmel Natural is definitely more pink tone than Tarte Park Ave Princess. However, the pink tone is actually kind of nice. I mention the Tarte bronzer because I think this Rimmel one has a very similar texture and quality. If you’re not familiar with Tarte, it costs about ten times as much as Rimmel. That’s not an exaggeration!

The usual price for this bronzer at Walgreen’s is five dollars and change. But when I got them, Rimmel products were on sale for half off and I had a coupon for a dollar off. So I scored this bronzer for about two dollars. I love getting a good deal and this was definitely a good one. 😀

I would highly recommend this and I would definitely buy it again. The price and the way this bronzer performs for me makes it a winner and earns a spot in my makeup collection.

Pros:

  • Glides on easily
  • Blendable
  • Good pigmentation
  • Smooth and velvety finish
  • Inexpensive

Cons:

  • Bad packaging

Price: $5

Rating: 4.8/5

Have you tried Rimmel Natural Bronzer? Did you like it? Not like it? Please share, as I am interested in your impression of this product.
