Anastasia Beverly Hills In Ashton | Review

You can never have too many lipsticks PERIOD J I am officially a liquid lipstick addict and recently I got this liquid lipstick from Anastasia Beverley Hills. I was so confused in trying their lipstick because I read so many places that their formula is super drying and not very comfortable but in Spring 2016 they reformulated and launched some new shades and ASHTON was one of their Spring 2016 collection. I read good reviews of their new formula so finally I got myself this gorgeous shade.

ASHTON is mid tone chestnut brown with a matte finish and this shade has been my favorite lately. This is the perfect brown/nude shade which will look flattering on all skin types. Their formula is moussey and glides on very easily and in one swipe you get a neat opaque finish with full coverage. The texture is just so velvety and this lipstick is transfer proof. It sets into flat matte finish within few seconds of application. It’s not at all drying whatsoever but however I always recommend to exfoliate your lips or apply a lip balm before applying any liquid lipstick. The lipstick stays good for more than 6 hours without fading even after eating and drinking. After 6 hours it starts fading a little so might need a retouch but otherwise this lipstick stays intact and I was totally surprised and impressed at its lasting power.

I have so many other liquid lipstick from other brands and this one from ABH is totally worth the money. The lipstick can be little pricier but worth every single penny. The packaging is just like any other liquid lipstick with a clear tube and an applicator. However I love the applicator of this particular lipstick as the wand is not too big and it’s a perfect size. I have other liquid lipstick where the wand is little too long and might get difficult it applying.

If you are crazy for liquid lipstick like me then you should definitely pick up this one and I am pretty sure none will regret this. I adore this lipstick and shade and I truly believe its universal nude shade which will look fabulous on every skin tone.

Have you used ABH liquid lipstick before? Which is your favorite liquid lipstick? I would love to know your thoughts. Thanks for reading 🙂

Best Mask Ever- Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay

Aztec Indian Healing Clay Mask

Don’t you want an affordable and effective face mask which does what it claims?? Well, I have found one of the best clay mask ever and I am in totally in love with it. I have tried many face mask and there are couple of masks which I love but nothing can beat this clay mask. I never tried clay mask before and I came across this mask and read some great reviews and was instantly sold.

I have dry sensitive skin with blackheads and little bit of pores on my cheek. I have tried so many products and methods to get rid of but they just won’t go. I got this mask in a hope that my blackheads and pores problem will reduce and guess what IT DID !!  Let me tell you that this is not a pamper mask when you can put on while munching some snacks, or start your day with before work or before any date night because you don’t want to look like a red panda!

Aztec Indian Healing Clay Mask

This masks says world’s most powerful facial deep pore cleansing clay and I couldn’t agree more.  The jar says ‘ FEEL YOUR FACE PULSATE’ and indeed it does gives an intense pulsating feeling and feels like the mask is pulling out the blackheads and the clogged pores. The pulsating feeling is super cool. It can be used as bodywraps, clay baths, foot soaks and on acne as well. The jar says mix clay with equal parts of raw apple cider vinegar and water. Stir the mixture to a smooth consistency. It has no fragrance and the texture is powdery, similar to cornflour.

Aztec Indian Healing Clay Mask

Apple cider vinegar is used to balance the PH and never just use this clay with water as the mixture forms lumps. So highly suggest using apple cider vinegar. Never use metal bowls or spoons to mix this clay as it will break down the ions in the clay making it less effective and when ions are lost there is no pulling power. So use a non-metal bowl and a spoon for mixing this clay. Apply the mask and leave in on for 20 minutes. I can’t even move my lips or open my mouth when this is on my face. Wash it off with warm water. After washing I noticed some red spots on my face but then I was like wow! Blood circulation is really kicking in. The redness goes away in half hour or so hence nothing to be worried about. I then pamper my skin with a good serum and moisturizer.

I noticed my blackheads gone in just one use and my pores were less visible. I was totally amazed on how my skin looked. It felt like I had an expensive facial from a luxurious salon. My skin felt so smooth and hydrated. The blackheads were gone and getting rid of clogged pores. It just felt so good seeing my skin this way. I use this twice a week and the days when I feel my skin looks tiring and dull. It takes all the impurities out from your skin and gives a nice glow. This is the best mask I ever came across and it’s so affordable and this jar will last you forever.

I am definitely gonna use this mask for a very long time and this is the best mask I ever used. I highly recommend everyone to try this out as it’s suitable for all skin types.

PIXI Makeup Fixing Spray | Review

pixi-makeup-fixing-spray-review

As I have dry skin I’m always looking out for something hydrating on my skin when it comes to any skincare or makeup setting products.  While shopping online I came across this PIXI makeup fixing spray which contains rose water and green tea I definitely wanted to try this out. So, I went ahead and treated myself with this amazing spray.

PIXI has some really good products and can be quite expensive but totally worth it at least for this product. I was looking out for a spray which can be used for multi-purpose and this one does the job which I was looking for. It’s really effective when used before/after makeup. It works great as a primer and really extends your makeup longevity. You can also use after makeup as a setting spray to set your makeup and add a soft focus finish on your skin. Usually with my dry skin, I get patches around my nose area when I wear makeup so this definitely helps in giving me a smooth and soft finish. It also prevents makeup settling into lines. I love to use this as a toner and spritz all over my face because the Green tea and Rose water present in it helps in getting rid of that acne, blemishes and gives a clean skin with hydration.

The packaging is adorable and comes in a plastic spray bottle but very sturdy so doesn’t look cheap at all and very easy to carry in a handbag or while you travel. I love to carry this every day at work and just spritz all over my face whenever my skin feels dull and dry.

I would highly recommend this to all skin types as it’s an amazing makeup fixing spray/ toner which works great for skin and love how my skin feels and looks after using this. The only con I think its little expensive when compared to other drugstore brands.

Minimal Fall Everyday Fall Look

img_3329

We are officially in Fall now and I love how days getting pleasant an nights colder. What I love about Fall is those Cosy clothes, boots, trench coats, dark lips, pumpkin lattes and much more.

So, I thought I would share my everyday Fall look with you all.

For Face:

I always like to reach out for the foundations which won’t disappoint me an one of them being MAC Studio Fix FLuid Foundation SPF 15. It’s my favorite foundation and I love the coverage and the formula. It makes my skin look flawless without looking cakey. For concealer, I like to use LA Girl Pro HD Concealer  as it gives me full coverage by hiding those dark circles. For blush I always reach out for ELF Blush Palette  as it looks so natural on my skin. I don’t like to contour everyday day so I totally skip it or just use a Rimmel Natural Bronzer to add some definition to my face. Lastly, for highlighter I like NYX Illuminator as it gives a natural glowy look and I build it up if I want an intense highlighter look.

For Eyes:

For my eyes, I like to keep it very simple by just doing winged eyeliner and currently I love using NYC Liquid Liner as its super affordable and matte jet black and add lots of mascara on upper and lower lashes and my all-time favorite mascara is Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.

For Lips:

No doubt I totally love wearing dark lips and one of my favorite is Ofra Liquid Lipstick in the shade ‘Mina’ which is nice dark burgundy shade and appropriate for this season. I love how smooth it glides and dries up matte without making my lips uncomfortable and also it’s long lasting and stays for good 5-6 hours.

What kind of look you like to spot during this season? Have you tried any of these products before? Thanks for reading!

MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation SPF 15 | Review

MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation

Foundations are one thing I am concerned about because they can be your best friend or worst enemy. Choosing right shade and right foundation can give you a flawless base with dreamy glow or matte finish which you like and when picked a wrong foundation can totally make your face look disaster.

I don’t own 20 foundations knowing my drawers but I have couple of foundation from both drugstore and high end which I always reach out and they don’t disappoint me at all. One of those foundations is MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation (I am in the shade NC 40) which is my go-to foundation. For those of you that are not familiar with MAC colors, NC stands for those with warmer or more yellow undertones while NW which stands for cooler pink undertones.

It’s a medium to full coverage foundation and totally buildable without making your face look cakey. It gives such a flawless base and hides those dark spots and evens out my skin tone which is really cool. It doesn’t feel heavy and gives a nice semi-matte finish leaving your skin with little glow. I have dry skin and this works like a magic on me because I have heard that this foundation doesn’t suit dry skin people but definitely worked out for me so I suggest dry skin people to give it a try. The formula is semi-thick fluid but easily blendable with a sponge or any foundation brush. It lasts for more than 6 hours and with a good primer the foundation is in place throughout the day. One thing which I don’t like is the packaging. There is no dispenser or a pump. It comes in a glass bottle with a black screw tight cap and while taking foundation out it can be a bit messy but you get used to it. It comes with a SPF 15 which is good when used during day time to protect you skin while slaying a flawless base.

I highly recommend to all skin types and you will definitely not regret this.
