NYX Liquid Crystal Liner In Crystal Silk | Review

NYX Crystal Glitter Liner

Lately I have been obsessed with glitters and love using them whenever I can. I am just a beginner when it comes to makeup and I dint want to spend bucks on glitter liners. I heard so many people rave about UD heavy metal liquid glitter liners but $20 for glitter liner? Nah! So, I found this NYX Crystal glitter liners at my nearest Ulta and gave it a try since they are so inexpensive and glad I did!!

I got NYX Crystal Glitter Liner in the shade Crystal Silk which is a nice light gold sparkly color which adds a bling to your eye. The application is super easy and goes on smoothly unlike other glitter liners which gets too dry while applying and difficult to work with. This liner goes smoothly and dries up in couple of minutes. I wait for additional few minutes just to be sure that it’s completely dry so that it doesn’t gets messed up. You can use this as a liner or just add on your eyelids for that entire glitter eye look as its not messy while loose glitters can be hard to work with at times. You can build the coats on how intense you like or just leave with one coat which is pretty pigmented for a drugstore brand. The Packaging looks so beautiful and comes in tube with a black cap and applicator is easy to work.

I highly recommend to you all who are into glitter liners and want to try something from drugstore.

Have you tried any glitter liners? Which is your favorite? Thanks for reading!

MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation SPF 15 | Review

MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation

Foundations are one thing I am concerned about because they can be your best friend or worst enemy. Choosing right shade and right foundation can give you a flawless base with dreamy glow or matte finish which you like and when picked a wrong foundation can totally make your face look disaster.

I don’t own 20 foundations knowing my drawers but I have couple of foundation from both drugstore and high end which I always reach out and they don’t disappoint me at all. One of those foundations is MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation (I am in the shade NC 40) which is my go-to foundation. For those of you that are not familiar with MAC colors, NC stands for those with warmer or more yellow undertones while NW which stands for cooler pink undertones.

It’s a medium to full coverage foundation and totally buildable without making your face look cakey. It gives such a flawless base and hides those dark spots and evens out my skin tone which is really cool. It doesn’t feel heavy and gives a nice semi-matte finish leaving your skin with little glow. I have dry skin and this works like a magic on me because I have heard that this foundation doesn’t suit dry skin people but definitely worked out for me so I suggest dry skin people to give it a try. The formula is semi-thick fluid but easily blendable with a sponge or any foundation brush. It lasts for more than 6 hours and with a good primer the foundation is in place throughout the day. One thing which I don’t like is the packaging. There is no dispenser or a pump. It comes in a glass bottle with a black screw tight cap and while taking foundation out it can be a bit messy but you get used to it. It comes with a SPF 15 which is good when used during day time to protect you skin while slaying a flawless base.

I highly recommend to all skin types and you will definitely not regret this.

ELF Glitter Primer | Review

Lately I have been obsessed with all glitter eye-makeup and I really want to try one before because I have never done any kind of glitter eye-makeup. I didn’t want to spend much on a glitter primer because I was not sure will I like it or not so when I was walking on my Target beauty aisle I spotted this incredibly amazing Glitter Primer from ELF.

This is primer is literally $2 and totally worth and works really best for the price. The glitter sticks very easily and glue has consistency like elmers glue. Texture is smooth and blends easily and the color of glue is beige, but it turns out in clear transparent layer after blending it.Just apply the glitter primer wherever you want it and then take your loose glitter and just dab it and voila!! It looks so beautiful and glitter stays on place for quite a long time and no fallouts.  Your eye doesn’t feel stiff or sticky with this glitter primer which is great. This is not a waterproof so comes out very easily.

The packaging comes in a squeeze tube with a silver cap and it’s not messy to use.

I highly recommend this glitter primer/glue to everyone because of its price and for beginners who wants to play with glitters.

Which is your favorite glitter glue/primer?  Have you used this one before? Thanks for reading 🙂

ELF Blush Palette Review In Light

ELF Blush Palette

Hey beauties,

Are you a fan of blushes with affordable price?? Well, then this product is for you!!

I have been hearing so many good things about the ELF Blush Palettes and finally thought I should give it a try and lately have been loving using this blush.

My Review:

This quad comes in 4 different shades with three matte finish and one with very little shimmer. These blushes are very finely milled powders hence gives a very soft look on cheeks. It’s very easy to blend and are super pigmented. The palette has two different shades of pink, an orangey bronze tan color and a coral shimmery color. I like to mix and match these shades to create a contour blush. It has quite good staying power for up to 5-6 hours. The upper right hand shade is great for contouring or if you want to go for bronzey look. Although, I feel this is the only shade I feel little muddy when I apply but none the less I love this and also use on my crease. I just apply this blush very lightly on the apples of my cheeks with a slight sweep up towards my temples. The best part is the pans can be popped out. You can easily carry your favorite color in the palette while travelling with your other eye-shadow pans and highlighters.

Elf blush 1

                                                                                          Top row

Elf blush 2

                                                                                      Bottom row

Talking about packaging, it comes in a black hard sturdy plastic box with a huge mirror inside. I really like that it comes with such a mirror. The black packaging looks quite classic.

This palette comes in two different shades. One is Light and the other is Dark. I picked in the shade Light. Overall, I am totally impressed by this palette and highly recommend to everyone.

The Body Shop Aloe Vera Protective Restoring Mask Review

TBS Aloe Vera Mask

Hey loves,

This review is so overdue. Today I am here to talk about TBS popular product “Aloe Vera Protective Restoring Mask” which I picked few months back.  Lured by some awesome deals which TBS offers I picked up one of this in their buy 3 get 3 free deals.

My Review:

I picked up this product because of the redness on my face and sensitive skin due to heat and sunlight. Summers are bad where I live so I grabbed this one because it’s a aloe vera mask which will soothe and calm my skin. The first time I used I applied this mask and left for 20-30 mins to dry and then wiped of using a cotton pad. My skin felt so smooth and soft as I have very dry skin as well. I was amazed as to how my skin felt throughout the day after applying this mask. My skin didn’t feel dry and flaky and also redness was gone and hence was left with smooth and hydrated skin. The next time I used I applied this mask at night and I woke up with smooth supple and plumped skin. I was totally amazed on how it worked at night. And since then I have been using at night post cleansing and after applying this mask I don’t apply any apply moisturizer because after wiping this mask off my skin feels little greasy which is good for dry skin so I skip moisturizer. A little goes long way and the formula is neither too thick nor thin and no scent at all which is great.  Also, when I am out in the sun the whole day I like to use this mask to calm and smoothen my skin. Not that my dry skin as gone by using this but whenever I use my skin fees smooth and hydrated which  I really like and hence enjoy using this mask.

TBS Aloe Vera Protective Mask

Talking about packaging, it comes in a tub jar with a tight screw lid. It can be unhygienic and also messy to just put your hands in the jar and use the mask. I like to use a brush to apply this mask.

I would recommend it to almost anybody except those with very oily skin. Those with normal or combination skin could use it as a mask for a boost of hydration or to moisturize dry spots during colder months, while people with dry skin (like me) can  use it all the year round.

TBS Aloe Vera Mask

  • Hydrating mask
  • Works great as night moisturizer
  • Leaves skin smooth and soft
  • Works well for dry skin
  • Vegan
  • Cruelty-free
  • No scent
  • Little product goes long way
